Yummy Vegan Protein Recipe With Vegan Protein Powder

1. Banana Almond Muffins

Makes 6 small muffins with 6 small muffin toppers

Ingredients

  1. 1 and a half bananas
  2. 1 scoop of Planta Force vanilla protein powder
  3. 150 g almond flour
  4. 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  5. 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  6. Stevia or flavour drops – Optional
  7. Peanut butter

Method

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees!

  1. Mix the tablespoon of chia seeds with 3 tablespoons of water and leave to set (this is great for replacing eggs!)
  2. Chop the banana in to pieces and blend with the flour, protein powder,cinnamon and the “chia egg”.
  3. Add stevia if you would like your muffins extra sweet.
  4. Here you are welcome to add in extras: nut butter, berries, choc chips, whatever you desire but be warned the macros will change!
  5. Line a muffin tray with 12 muffin cases. Fill 6 of the cases to near the top and 6 of the cases a quarter of the way full. Bake for 30 minutes or until they look golden brown

Once cool, place one of the larger size muffins on the bottom, added some peanut butter and then placed a smaller size muffin topper on the top!

2. Chickpea Protein Cookie Dough

Makes 2 big portions!

Ingredients

  1. 1 tin of drained chickpeas
  2. 60g of nut butter
  3. 40g of oats
  4. 1/2 a scoop of Planta Force protein powder hazelnut flavour
  5. Stevia or flavour drops – enough to make it sweet
  6. Pinch of salt
  7. 50-100ml of plant milk

Method

  1. Rinse and drain chickpeas.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender, start with 50ml of “milk” and add more if needed.
  3. Once blended, stir through choc chips/ choc chunks, sugar free caramel syrup/frozen berries!
  4. Separate into 2 dishes and Refrigerate for 30 minutes, SMILE and enjoy

3. Chocolate Orange Protein Dessert

Ingredients

  1. 100ml of cashew milk and 100ml water
  2. 1 scoop of Planta Force Chocolate protein powder
  3. 10g of Choc Chick choc orange cacao powder
  4. 40g avocado
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of xanthan gum (optional) – will make extra fluffy
  6. 12 ice cubes

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients Tastes like chocolate heaven!

4. Chickpea Burgers

Makes 2 large burgers

Ingredients

  1. 1 tin of drained chickpeas
  2. 1 teaspoon of Planta Force brown rice protein powder
  3. 25g grated carrot
  4. 25g grated courgette
  5. 1/2 a lemon’s juice
  6. Spices – I used paprika, chilli, turmeric, oregano
  7. Pinch of salt

Method

Preheat oven to 180

  1. Blend all ingredients
  2. Shape into burger patties. I chose to make 2 large burgers and 2 smaller burgers
  3. Line a tray with baking powder and
  4. Cook for 40 minutes or until golden
